DATE & TIME
Saturday, September 24, 2-6pm
Sunday, September 25, 2-6pm
LOCATION
At Large
The Threads of Our Stories takes form as a respectful intervention, providing engagement with the public through the tradition of embroidery, blended with mixed-media and salvaged materials gathered along Manhattan’s historic 14th Street.
The coming together of different people, experiences, hopes, pasts, presents, and futures illustrate the beauty and power of the people that make the city what it is. Through a visual retelling of how they want to be remembered, passers by are given the platform and space to tell their stories, in their own way.
