LOCATION
At Large
A performance art piece: a slow, ritualized walk to decelerate time and cultivate a life-affirming sensual interdependence with habitat, at all scales. Shana Robbins will commune with energies, beings/critters, and elements that are often overlooked (invisible), shunned, or destroyed in our human spaces. Along the path, she will sprinkle AION A healing rock powder from the grotto of Swiss visionary artist and healer Emma Kunz. Robbins will also be creating subtle sounds, using chimes and bells, in co-creation with place and space.
Shana Robbins is an Atlanta-based artist who uses her body as a conduit in Earth honoring works that model and channel psychomagical, eco erotic, cosmic, and interspecies forms of embodiment and care. Robbins has exhibited in biennials, museums, galleries and remote natural spaces around the world.
