In this performance, The Armchair Salon will be a pop-up poetry space that will allow the users of 14th Street to sit, take a breath and listen to some neurodivergent word-craft. Members of Poets, Of Course will share their work with passers by who will have the chance to rest and contemplate in communion with disabled poets from across New York City.
Poets, Of Course are a collective of creative people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our normal might not be your normal. We occupy new dimensions. We are dazzling and proudly present our neurodivergent creativity for all.
